There are 2 fully detached houses on my road and I think at least one is occupied by squatters. They were bought by the local authority as part of a road widening scheme which has since been scrapped. Now they simply lie borded up.
I was wondering is there any way to purchase these properties or fix them up with a grant from the council and possibly let them to the Housing Association. Has anyone had any experience of derilict properties?
