Interesting article, Countrywide must of struck a good deal with mydeposits as their average cost is £20 per tenancy plus this same cost each time tenancy is renewed plus registration fees.
With TDS our average fee per tenancy is £7.00 as we have never had a dispute so even though our cost has risen considerably this year I have no intentions on moving - think of the hassle!

Do rabbits lay eggs?
Is that a trick question, or do you not recognise the Easter Bunny (along with all the many other cultural icons of Western civilisation which you find unauthentic!?)

Why are rabbits associated with Easter, anyway?

Why are rabbits associated with Easter, anyway?
Pre-Christian I think, but connected with the general pagan association between Spring, eggs and fecundity which gradually got mixed up with Christian Lent traditions involving eggs (using up of 'rich' foodstuffs on Shrove Tuesday, end of fasting on Easter Sunday, etc).

Not so much borrowed as lent, then.

I can 100% believe that CRL did not base their decision to leave TDS due to costing.
I have worked there myself and can say they do not base any decision on cost.
They are massively overstaffed, employing people who frankly do not have any experience in lettings or law.
I think the only reason the company has not gone under is due to the silly fees they charge.
