Is it advisable to take on a DSS tenant with a Guarantor who is in full-time employment?

Well, a tenant on HB/LHA (which is what you meant- not 'DSS') with an employed guarantor is better than one without.

It would be better if the guarantor was also a home-owner; I'd check how secure the employment is.

It's also advisable to carry out credit/reference checks on the tenant.

How is the guarantee going to be drafted - by a solicitor?
