tenant in first 6 months of fixed tenancy which ends 27/2/2010

need to serve section 21

is it b as he is in fixed term and if so what date to quit do i put the 27/2/2010


or is it a as when notice ends he will be in periodic tenancy

There are no 21a or 21b: merely s.21(1)(b) or s.21(4)(a).
If Notice is served during fixed term, it's s.21(1)(b).
Was any protectable deposit protected?
