For how long is HIP valid?

I know an EPC is valid for ten years, but how long is a HIP valid for?

Can't find an official answer, but if there is continuous marketing you can use the same home information pack. If marketing stops but starts again within a year of when marketing first began, then you can use the same home information pack.

I think the short, tentative, non-scientific answer is at least twelve months.

If an energy performance certificate is part of a home information pack, it is valid up to three years.
