I have a couple of flats that will be looking to let. I was looking for a no hastle option of handing these over to a company to manage on my behalf. I wanted a company that would guarantee a rental income to me regardless of wether a tennat was in place.
I have heard of Northwood - Does anyone know of any other companies?
Thanks

Hi,
I was thinking of 'Northwood' too.
But I need to know what is thier terms and conditions between Landlord and agent and tenant and type of contract used. Any why they are not memebers of ARLA? And if they offer a insurance backed service?
I was looking at thier Platinham scheme

Hi. I did not realised they were not members. When I got a quote from Northwood. Over the 2 flats they were offering me £350 less a month than I could get if I rented through a letting agent. I know it is a guaranteed rent. But still a lot to miss out on.
As far as I am aware, you effectively give them your house/flat for a year and they then have the contract with the tennat, I do not believe that there is a relationship between the house/flat owner and the tennant.
