View Full Version : Letting Terms of business
I am on the verge of starting a letting agency. Where would be the best place to get the terms of business and all the other documentation? Where would be the best way to go, as every agent has there own. Solicitors will charge a fortune. I have heard of southport property? Any ideas.

By "Southport", you probably mean "Southcourt". Do an LZ search for the latter, to read members' experiences (esp. 'Wonderwoman').
Solicitors do not charge "a fortune" for tailor-made documents. If you pay peanuts, you get rubbish. It's up to you!

And don't forget, if you do not receive legal advice on the form and effect of your standard terms, it may come back to haunt you later.
Lawyers understand the effect of a proposed contract in the context of your business and the law of the land prevailing at the time.
