I'm looking at change of use to residential for a rental property I'm interested in.
Has anyone come across any online planning permission discussion forums with a UK bias?
I'm sure they must be out there as the whole local authority/planning laws is always ripe for discussion.

You could try the uk.d-i-y (http://groups.google.com/group/uk.d-i-y?lnk=li) usenet newsgroup - there are a lot of folk there with knowledge of this.
Or post the query here? Wouldn't have thought it was off-topic? Don't know of any specific planning permission fora though.

Eric, There a good bunch over on the DIY forum but I think PP is a bit specialised for them. There's a UK legal forum that I've found some info out on, but again I feel there must be a thriving little forum all discussing planning disputes/applications out there.
I'll continue my search and post back if I find anything of interest. The property concerned is currently classed as office/light industrial and has fallen into disrepair. From a rental point of view it seems ideal for conversion to residential.
