I am about to rent my flat out and have found that the Buildings insurance for my block of leasehold flats does not cover bathrooms and kitchens. As these are fitted it is standard for them to be covered by the Buildings insurance. I cannot find Contents insurance which will cover them. Has anyone found on here found one ?

You will not find a contents insurance policy that will cover your fitted bathroom and kitchen because, as you say, these are classed as buildings.
What you really need to question is why your building insurer does not cover these things. I have never heard of this exclusion in my experience so sounds rather strange but if you are sure and there is no way of including them then I would look for a new insurer.

Thanks Steve,
You're right, my management company were speaking complete rubbish. I called their insurance broker and they've set me right.
Thanks

Which insurance company/ broker is willing to offer insurance for bathrooms and kitchens ?
Our block has had so many claims for water damage, the excess was raised to 1000 pounds ofor any water claims under the block insurance and this cause much complaint from flat owners . So I am looking for low cost insurance cover against water damage which each individual flat owner could be asked to take out.

Why not just state that each lessee has to make good the excess on each and every claim concerning that lessee's flat?
