a friend of mine ( who in this day and age does not have the internet!), as three flats converted from a house with planning permission , etc.. but there as only been one water meter, (which he himself as paid the bill , the old type with a yearly fee). this practice is quite common on the street in question. of late 2 with similar properties have been contacted by the water board , and have had to have three seperate meters ( at a cost of £3000!).
the flats are heater by one combi, also.
anyone else come across the same problem. he is worried because he as not got £3000.
