I liked the customer testimonial:

"My tenants used to end up with furniture that I could've got a few quid for at a boot sale. I was literally losing pounds every year. Now, thanks to the professionals at IKAKA I can sleep soundly knowing that any funriture at my rented properties is completely worthless" :D

I remember doing some management work for a private landlord some years ago whose tenants buggered off with ALL the landlord's furniture from the house. A report was made to the police and the landlord told me to bump up the price of the stuff for the compensation claim against the tenants - I wouldn't saying it was me who was making the police statement/my neck on the line and I put down the values as close as I reckoned I could get auction/junk sale stuff - I valued the whole of the furniture provided at about £200 - my landlord wanted £3000 and in reality he had got the bits for between £2 and £5 a piece - the most expensive bit being the fridge freezer coming in at £8 at auction! I had an almighty row with him over his valuations.

I am glad I stuck to my guns because the tenant was traced and charged with theft and most of the stuff recovered and the police could see they were crap secondhand junk. Had I implicated myself in the landlords fraud, I myself might have been charged along with the landlord!!!

Isn't it interesting what old threads yield up?
Try the IKAKA pop-up-thingy for instance!
