Does anyone know how to activate the spellcheck facility when composing posts? If you click on the 'ABC above the tick icon', nothing really happens. Or am I being very dim?

I'm struggling to find the spell check facility you're referencing. Could someone post a screenshot pointing it out please?
Also, I recommend the spellchecker integrated in the Google toolbar (http://www.google.com/toolbar) for all of your pesky needs.

The Google Tool Bar works with your web browser and has a very powerful Spell Checker which can be used with any online text form, including when you post on the LandlordZONE Forum
1 - Download the Google Tool Bar (http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/FT5/intl/en-GB/index.html)
2 - This will install in your web browser - MS Explorer, FireFox, Chrome etc.
3 - By going to View > Toolbars - you can view or hide the Tool Bar as you need it.
4 - When you are using the post / reply form on the LandlordZONE Forum with the Google Tool bar open you will see the ABC Check tab on the Tool Bar - this is the spell check tab
5 - Click on the tab and type or click on the tab when you have typed.
6 - Miss-spelled words will highlight in red
7 - Click on the highlighted word and you will be given a list of alternative spellings
8 - Chose the correct spelling and the highlight will turn to green
9 - Click the tab again to stop - finish spell checking
It's very easy to use once you get used to it.

This thread has been copied and split.
The "Forum Use Guide" version includes only user guidance aspects.
The "Take A Break" version is confined to the more light-hearted aspects.

Thank you, Editor, for this very worthwhile post, which we appreciate. We don't mind at all that there are a few spelling errors in it. (Well, most of us don't!).
