furnace blew out...

the tenants i have have not maintained thier furnace in 3 years. It just recently blew up throwing smoke everywhere..

i dont have the lease in front of me, but its a standard commercial lease drawn by our landlord, whom im having a falling out with.

who is responsible to fix the furnace.

You rent the premises, but you're sub-letting to a third party?

There will therefore be two leases - one between yourself & the landlord, and another between yourself and the sub-tenant.

Assuming it is a full repairing & insuring lease, and the same terms & conditions apply to the sub-let then the sub-tenant is clearly responsible for the repair and any consequential damage. But you really need to check the leases to be certain.
