Hello. I've got a property which received a structural alts exemption from council tax, started last May, just received a bill from this May to next March, so they've given a 12 month exemption. All good.
The trouble is the work is still on-going ( though coming to an end ). The building is listed so though we had planning permission, the listing consent only happened last Dec which slowed everything down.
Does a structural alterations exemption have a 'cap' of 12 months, or can I apply to have this extended ? Yes, I know I could ask the council but they basically told me bs last time, I found out via research I was eligible, and when I returned forearmed, they agreed.
Many Thanks
