The 'Inside Track'?

I'm very new to the letting game however wish to learn a lot more (hence reading these forums). I've heard about the Inside Track. Has any one had any experience of them good or bad and would you recommend one of their courses?

i have not heard of them, but there are a lot of very expensive courses around that don't in my mind offer great deal of value for money. join a local landlord association and talk to the members, keep reading this and other good forums and buy a cuple of books, a lot cheaper than the £3-5000 some of these courses charge! (and probably better!)

I think they were on watchdog or similar type programme a while back, they were selling properties to thier members for a lot more than they were locally advertised.

Just done a quick search and I think I found the storey I was thinking of. It metions the term ''inside track'' in the storey so I may have added 2 + 2 and got 22. Still worth a read.

that business was called the "The Spencer Michael Consultancy and Property Investors Course Ltd" but i think you are in the right area, it is what i have heard about these type of courses, they try to sell you property, get you to use their finance people etc, etc...

I have been to a 'free' seminar that Inside Track holds each week around the country. Very much hard sell for a w/e and you could be persuaded to spend up to £6,000. I was not impressed, however, I then attended a one day seminar held by Choices Aquisition in Crawley, they have 8 branches of Estate agencies and lettings, and found them to be very friendly and much much cheaper, whilst offering the same deals. I hasten to add that I am nothing to do with them even though my lettings agency has the same name. I am in North Hants. Tonight in the Runnymede hotel in Windsor there is a property investers networking gathering, starts at 7pm. :)
