I have 2 empty properties at the mo and trying everything - including coming across these guys. They charge 4% for let only and 8% for fully managed?
Sounds too good to be true - any experiences?

I'm not sure about that company, but if you are able to manage your properties yourself, I have found www.torent.co.uk and www.gumtree.co.uk have been bringing me in a lot of potential tenants for all of my properties.
Good luck

I know of the people at lettingagent.com. Nice people. Fees are good as they are a buy-to-let mortgage company so have many landlords, do not need to charge much. No I do not work for them, but point new b2l people in their direction for a good quote.:)

Thanks for the vote. I decided to set up LettingAgent.con because we had so many landlords who were paying silly money to find a tenant...thus lettingagent.com starts at 3%!!

All tenants I check in/out or landlords that I do an inventory for I give them this web address. Most have never heard of it, some get back to me and say brilliant site. Useful and sometimes amusing comments/help. Great for heated debates between regular people....:D

Simon what businesses are you involved with then?
Thanks for the vote. I decided to set up LettingAgent.con <snip>
Surely that should be LettingAgent.com??? I don't think there's any need for anyone else to set up LettingAgent.con; that's more than adequately covered already, in my experience... :D
