I'm just looking for some guidance on how to tell if tenant has given me possession of premises. The court has served notice which is due to expire tomorrow and no defence has been received. I now have to return to the court a request for possession order and need to state whether the defendant has given me possession of premises. Given that we have not received any communication from tenant since she took on tenancy, except for some payment directly into our bank. This despite our numerous letters and phone calls all unanswered.
Whenever we have been passed the property over past months curtains closed, and you wouldn't know anyone there. How can we tell if she has left? Are we allowed to enter to check?
Would be grateful for advice
Thanks
