Hi

I'm currently in the process of letting out my property.

Firstly I advertised it on a couple of free sites with some interest.

To get it quickly re-let I decided to instruct a LA. Who within 5 days has been recommended a tenant from a local company and said he wants it.

In the meantime I have showed another tenant around the property who also wants it and is prepared to give me three months rent upfront.

The LA is now performing credit checks on his tenant, and said for me to put two tenants up together is unethical and not fair.

Any advice anyone?

Should I swallow the LA costs and go with their tenant (subject to checks) or persue mine?

Cheers

What did you agree with the LA at the time they informed you of their applicant's interest?

Was a holding deposit agreement signed?
