Seek agent recommendation- Cheadle

Guys/Gals,

I've recently seperated from my wife, in the process of a divorce etc, but to add to my headaches i've been made redundant... (although i've now found a job but its down south), I need to rent out my property, so I'm in the process of decorating etc.

I need to find a half decent agent, who's going to not screw me over... the property is a 4 bedroom detached house with a garage in cheadle cheshire, not too far from manchester airport, great schools nearby, and a business park and two hospitals within a stones throw...

so anyone got any guidance??!

Sorry to hear about your circumstances, I may be able to help. I am an independant letting agent based in Ellesmere Port (end of the M56). I set up my own agency as I have properties of my own and was fed up with poor service from my letting agent, they never did anything for their money didnt vet tenants properly and a string of other stuff to much to mention. Anyway without rambling on I manage my own properties and have others on my books aswell. We have a 4 bed house in ellesmere port just come on with us and I am taking another 4 bed roome in Chester next week including other smaller ones we have. The difference is that the larger the house the more difficult it is to let but what I do that most of the large agents dont is that I contact the large companies/hospitals/universities around your property to see if they are recruiting in the area and need a house for their new member of staff and get properties in front of them rather than wait for them to come to me. As I said I am a small outfit and I am convinced I provide a bespoke service for all the properties I manage and keep landlords informed of progress (another bug bear of mine when I let other agents manage).
