I rent my flat via a letting agent. I've got a tenant who has been there since September and all is well.
With regard to the Deposit Scheme should I have a copy of paperwork for this or will the agent retain this on my behalf? Also I was under the impression there is a fee for using the Deposit Protection Scheme but this hasn't appeared on any of my statements. I don't want to ask the agent as I don't want to appear thick.
