Ramnik - this is not a real post. Having only been a member since September, I have been reading all the old posts. May I thank you for all your very clear answers to tax questions. I have learned so much from you, I just wanted to let know that you are appreciated, and even if some of the original posters do not bother to thank you, the rest of us are grateful for the time and trouble you take. Best wishes Susan

Susan, I am gobsmacked. I never expected such a warm and personal appreciation. To be honest, when the original posters never bother to even say a simple 'thank you', I do sometimes wonder whether there is any point. Your post means a lot to me.

Susan, thanks again. Please accept a big hug from me.

I must back up what susan has said here. Ramnik is very much under appreciated on the forums(perhaps because he is on the "dark side" not in rental property questions :p), but the clarity and informative nature of all of his posts are second to none, and I too have learnt much! But I'm sure you know this by now Ramnik, I've said it a few times :D

Mr Shed,

You have not only expressed confidence in my posts but also supported me when others doubted my contents.
Thank you, nonetheless.

I just wanted to add my appreciation. I'm new. I went over some posts from 2005 on property tax.. issues even the clerks at HMRC couldn't resolve such as any-purpose secured loans on rented properties.. and Ramnik explained them with links to back his answers up. I decided to join up just to thank Ramnik. If you are still around, I'd like to let you know that I think you are amazing. Thank you.
