I am selling my leasehold maisonette to which I own 100% of the freehold for both mine and the other maisonette. I will be offering both leaseholders the opportunity to buy their share of the freehold, but I am looking to find a company who would be interesting in purchasing the freehold, should I need to sell to a 3rd party. Does anyone know of any companies they could let me have details for who buy freeholds?

Why are you targeting companies? I am, as a private individual, the sole freeholder of a block of flats.

To be quite honest, I am unsure of who to approach regarding such a sale. I was advised by my solicitor that some management companies buy up freehold interests.

Look in Estates Gazzette Magazine, available from WH Smith etc, in the classified section. Many companies that purchase freeholds advertise in it. Off the top of my head, Grays Inn Estates Ltd, Covent Garden Ltd, Freehold Managers Ltd...

You could try Shenstone Properties and Bushcharm Limited I am told they are very good, but Poppy is right private individuals purchase freeholds over blocks of flats too.

There are also some agents/brokers that specialise in freeholds. Or you can advertise directly on http://www.freeholdexchange.com. Does anyone have experience of this site?
