Following a boiler breakdown last year, I took out a BG boiler repair and Central Heating maintenace contract and I am now sure if I can claim this as an expense on by SA form.

I currently pay £28 per month as this included an immediate boiler repair and the contract for 12 months. In December, this will drop to £16 per month. If I can claim it as an expense, can I claim the full £28?

You can claim whatever you pay. So if you are paying £28, you claim £28. If you pay £16, you claim £16. Simple as that. (Not sure I understand your question, though.)

Perhaps the question arises because:
a. the £28 is for repair + maintenance; whereas
b. the £16 is for maintenance-only.

Fully claimable, and I assume they issue the annual gas safety certificate which is compulsory ( by Law ) Regards Peter
