Hi All,
I am considering purchasing a property (freehold) which is currently on a long lease (125 years). The annual ground rent the tenants pay is not very much. The property also has quite a bit of land with it.
Does anyone know if I would be allowed to make modifications to the in terms of building and extension / extra room (sub ject to planning permission of course).
Im just not sure whether the law allows the freeholder to build on a property that is currently let on a long lease.
Many thanks in advance.
Ismail
