Hi
Is it correct that we can keep upto £2k of any tax due from a rental property if we spend the money on energy saving stuff (loft insulation etc).
If so, is it possible to get the work done now and deduct it from the 07/08 tax return - or must we wait to deduct from this years?
If I can buy and claim instantly then its worth doing, but if I have to wait for my money back then its not so attractive.
