Software for money managing

Does anyone know of any software that will help me with my rental expenses.

What i would like is to be able to input all my expenditures throughout the year to help me keep a track of what i am spending and also to aid in tax forms.

Speaking of tax anyone got any templates of their completed tax forms regarding their rental property (or can i advise me on what i should be including!)

I maintain one spreadsheet per property, plus one more for non property-specific expenses; it has columns for date, expense amount, payee and brief nature of expense. On 5 April each year I draw a line, and start again from 0 in the same spreadsheet.

Every receipt I get is entered into the spreadsheet, then filed away semi-permanently in a single box file; if I ever need to I can quickly track down the original receipt as they're all in reverse date order.

I can sort the spreadsheet data by different columns if need be, and can easily calculate totals of columns etc. The spreadsheet data goes to the accountant.

:p I use Microsoft Money programme

You can adapt it for each property both income and outcome

You can adapt so that each expenditire category for each propertry

Also the same for income

This means that you canm get an overall pictire for any cateogy and any property

I am sure their a specialised letting ones on the market by this works well for me
