Notice To Quit

My mother was renting a property from a housing association for 12 years.

She had a stroke and had to move out.

I was in the property for 5 years.

Despite the rent being up to date and infact paid until February they have issued a notice to quit.

How long do we have ?

What are my rights ?

You don't provide enough information. Your rights will depend upon what type of tenancy your mother had, when you moved into the property relative to your mothers occupation of it.

I'd suggest that you contact Shelter for advice as it is possible that you have the right to a tenancy.
