One of our landlords has done a bit of a dirty on us. The tenant was due to leave and notice had been given. The Landlord lives next door and dealt with the tenant directly, and took a months rent off him directly, I presume to avoid paying our managment fees. We then got a letter from the tenant, who was a little embarassed, from the landlord saying that the house had been insepcted and it was 'ok' for us to return the deposit. Are we entitled to send him an invoice for these fees?

How about reading your own Terms of Business for the answer?

Sorry, should of made myself a bit more clearer! The landlord is a bit of an arse, and can be quite rude and aloof. He basically rubbished the idea, and said you can have the property to let again, what do you sugesst is the best possible course of action?

You can send him a terms of business; he doesn't have to sign it. If he objects to any terms then it's up to you if they stay in or not.
I would be ditching this bloke asap.

Thanks for your message...
A friend who is also an agent said that one bad landlord just isn't worth it, regardless. I didn't agree with him, until recently
