I have always been led to believe mainly by ARLA that if a tenant requests the landlords contact details in writing the agent has to provide them..
Can anyone confirm if this is correct and if so does it stand after the tenant has vacated..
Thanks,

Yes, it is true that the letting agent must supply the landlord's address and it is within 21 days.
However, I do not know if this requirement applies after the tenant has vacated.
You should also change the title of your thread to make it clear what advice you are asking for.

The statutory authority for T's right to know is in s.1/s.2 of LTA 1985. T serves Notice; A must reply; failure is criminal offence.

L is probably also the registered proprietor, so you could use LR Direct to obtain a copy of his registered title (@ £3).
