More news!

BBC Website today finds very suspiciously close similarities between:
a. Tra La La song (c.1968); and
b. Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldiers" (1983)- line reading Woy Woy Woy, since you ask.
It tracks the musical notation of both. As Bob's no longer around, he can't himself be sued for plagiaristic breach of coptright- but someone else could be [Marley's Ghost?]

Didn't they have the first quad bikes?

Did the slightly later 'Double Deckers' steal the idea for a London bus from Sir Cliff?
Homer's doughnut stuffing inspired by the fat kid 'Doughnut' on that bus?
There's also a reggae link with Brinsley 'Spring' who later formed Aswad?

I'm surprised by "suprised" (and "whas", for that matter)!

Also, there were two Banana Splits songs: one was of course the Tra La La song, but the other was "Hey, there, the Banana Splits yeah- the Banana Splits with their funny bits [sic], the Banana Splits will make you happy."

Wasn't the President of Zimbabwe at one time a gentleman called Canaan Banana? And what about Eric Bana (Australian comedian/actor)?
