ITV1’s Tonight with Trevor McDonald is making a programme about Property Development, and we’re looking to hear from you.

Have you developed with the intention of adding value to your property? This could be from scratch after buying a derelict house, or maybe you’ve added an extension or some other home improvement. Has the recent slow down in the market meant you’ve lost out financially – or even gone bankrupt? Perhaps you’re trying to sell now, but know that you’re likely to make a loss? If you’re interested in taking part in the programme, then please contact me on 084488 16453 / 07786 547227 or toby.strutt@itv.com

:D Funny innit, how these program researchers join the forum with the sole intention of blagging some poor LL or T to bare their all in order to facilitate an 'in depth report' to show to the nation lasting all of 12 minutes after you take out the crap.

hello there

sorry to bother you all but i'm working for a company called quicksilver media doing a money programme for the BBC on the residential letting market which will likely be broadcast in the autumn.

i'm interested in speaking to people who have recently become landlords because of the impact of the current credit crunch and how they're finding their new status as landlords.

you can either pm me here, or email me on calum.walker@qsmedia.tv

thanks!

So are you just after landlords that have only become landlords because they've been forced into it because they cant sell?

Hehe I love the idea of someone being forced to be a landlord and have tenants

it's just one aspect amongst several i'm looking at but yes, new single property landlords coming in because of the credit crunch would help for the moment...

Established L.A. based production company is searching for a professional landlord with a BIG personality to star in a new reality television series.
The ideal candidate would have about 100+ residential listings that are being maintained. We are looking for someone who deals with the day to day trials and tribulations of maintaining so many listings and keeping the tenants happy. We are also mainly looking for a landlord that works with his family in the upkeep of all the listings.

Candidates from all areas of the U.S. will be considered.
If you or someone you know may be interested, please send a brief description listing the candidate’s qualifications along with a current photo to landlordstv@gmail.com.

If possible, also include links to any videos that feature the candidate.

I can see it now - "LLZone the movie"
a thought provoking piece of cinema about numerous lives brought together by one internet forum. We have it all. The exploited and the exploiters, the kind and the nasty, the goodies and the baddies. The film explores how their lives are interwoven by one particular thread which leads them on a quest to rescue a fellow member from unimaginable peril. I have parts for Jeffrey and MTG - others may apply here. Casting in April.

Groundbreaking as it may well prove in the annals of film history, it would probably be precipitate for anyone to give up their day job just yet on the strength of this concept.

Several largely similar questions on separate threads (relating to television programmes, producers, productions, and interviews with landlords and tenants) have been merged into this thread.

Fear not. We have one cat who is loyal to us and not only eats at our house but grants us his company on a regular basis. Tells us his troubles, sits on our knees, watches 'Junior Doctors' with us, etc. We have another (his twin brother) who eats at our house, but prefers the company of the neighbours, who are to all intents and purposes his surrogate owners. He enjoys getting away with all sorts of tricks like sleeping on their bed all night, which isn't allowed in our house. He even tried to smuggle himself away in their caravan when they went on holiday one year. They got 10miles before they noticed (in their rear view mirror) his face peering out of the caravan window.

So he's really only 'half' ours.

Oh no, surely not. Being a superhero means he will have to wear his pants over his trousers, change into his costume from telephone boxes, assist all maidens in distress, and assume an alias. All that in the space of a few minutes. Oh, and put the world to right while he's at it. Not an easy task for any mere mortal

So ala Blofeld or Goldfinger where LHA is tied to a table under a (solar powered) laser made out recycled bicycles and guardians.

LHA ( in the voice of Connery) "Scho MTG, do you want me to exschplain my post again, with punctuashion, and schentensches?"

I agree that an imagination is indeed a faculty to be encouraged. Imaginations which whip themselves up into a frenzy of unpleasantness and which amuse themselves with the contemplation of imagined cruelty are probably best not encouraged, however.

I wanted to avoid " the yoof of today comment" but with the internet,tv and movies, the financial freedom to do many things, travel and experience firsthand, and the virtual worlds from gaming to "sims", imagination is not so important.

How many people on a train journey read book or stare out of the window and daydream? So often they end up doing something( even if it is virtual) rather than imagining it.

Great idea for a TV series: a growing procession of novice producers try to drum-up interest in a proposed programme by posting on a landlord/tenant website, with hilarious consequences!
