OK to cut a very long and stressful story short.
My LA failed to inform me of some clearing work as the last tenants left the country and a few unwanted items, although i instructed them to OK any quotes through me first. I arranged a clear myself after not hearing from LA and supplied a 9 item list for this. I mailed the LA and said ' i have someone to do the work' on the day of the first clear.
I was thern informed by the agent that some items had been removed including the bed and mattress, bedside cabs, CD player, wardrobe and other electrical and kitchen equipment.
The LA finaly agreed to supply a bed and mattress and refund the cost of both clears.
My complaint was ignored for 3 months and my rent was also late. I had informed the LA that i will be leaving and taking tenant to a different agent and due to late rent and several internation calls asked to be released from the contract to save bad feeling etc on both sides.
My rent was paid and 3 months fee taken out for the remaining 2 months to run and i now have a total breakdown in communication and feel that they have acted wrongly as they broke the contract and failed to follow instructions with a total neglect of client care.
The good news is my tenant is on my side nad i will be saving £400 over the year in a smaller fee for tenant supplied.
