btl and tax

Hi there
I am a new landlord and will obviously have to pay tax on any profit made,(not a lot at the moment).Just wondering if anyone can give some advice on what i have to do and the best way to go about it.

The home page points to a recent article on SIPS and Tax, get past the SIPS bit and you will get to some bits about what is allowable. I would suggest having a hour or two with a good accountant to help you return your first PTR, after that you should be ok.
