DIY Lease Extension

Thanks to Jeffrey and SGLacy for very helpful replies under my previous thread "Lease on the Loose". The suggested figure is a frighteningly high percentage of the flat's value on top of legal fees, and so I wondered, is it possible for me to serve the s.42 Notice myself and proceed as far along the mediation path as I can in a reasonable manner?
Where would I find the format the Notice takes, and has anyone produced a "Dummies" for the procedure, and if not, why haven't you!

Look under their advice publications. That is about as simple an explanation as you will get. Putting together something that deals with all the technicalities and legal reasoning simply gets complicated by default
