Landlords and to get properties on to your books ? I have just started to
advertise in my local papers I have no problems finding Tenants but to find
properties it seems to be taking long with no response I have searched certain
sites I know I have to keep advertising, but just to get that initial kick start if
any of you can help your advice, help welcomed

If you do not mind sharing some of your tips I would be grateful as I aim
to make it work and I am rarrrrrrring to go everything else is in place

Many Thanks,
Missy

Erics right you did post the same last week. You're the 10 per cent lady!

I don't want to be mean or start missy bashing - but from your q's you present as the Darren Lamb of the rental agent business!!!

It seems that attracting business is the problem. As a new venture you will have to prove yourself to better and cheaper than the competition.
In the current climate you will need a VERY large advertising budget or be very lucky.

People buy services on price but then expect the best service, as a new venture you will have to offer BOTH for at least the first year.

Good Luck.

Try 5% for the first 3-6 months 3-4 inpections a year and no set-up fee's. Stick a ad in the paper I'm sure that will appeal to some of the tighter landlords.

"Ovious"? Is that "egg-like"?

Or perhaps "ovious" is halfway between "oval" and "envious". Is that an egg in your chicken-coop or are you just pleased to see me?
And a vibrating egg [don't ask] would stop you feeling broody...

MISSYJ, If you have ten eggs and one breaks, what would be the % of broken eggs, 10%, 12% or 349.6% ?

3-4 inpections a year

Think you would have to employ a woodpecker for the inpections!

Either she's a lady 100% or not at all- there's little scope for a partial changeover, except by surgery or hormone treatment.

Not true! There are cases of babies born with both sets of genitals, they could go one way or the other. Bit like lilly savage.

Is that the 10%? Of what? Size isn't everything.

Odd that 'adult' has a special meaning- like 'discerning', 'specialist interest', and 'contact'!

You are starting to sound like 'Rodney Trotter'

Besides with the internet, are such magazines still around?

So, not just Rodney, but Baldric too, it seems. Of course, Baldric wouldn't be able to reach the top shelf, but Rodney could!

Wouldn't that depend on how high the shelf is and if there is a ladder available? :D

Besides, Baldric is dead, he died in Blackadder, got shot going over into no-mans-land ( it was on the telly the other night so it must be true! )
