 I have an AST that began 1st July '07, please advise on dates of when I should serve a s21 notice to tenants, also should this be in letter format?
I have found a buyer for my property can i sell the property with the tenancy in hand and tell the tenants the landlord would like to raise the rent as the new landlord would like more rent, where do I stand? Also what is the best way to serve the s21 as I was told recorded delivery is the worst as the tenant can refuse to sign for it? Should I use a solicitor to serve the s21.

Should I mention in a letter that I have sold the property?

This question is asked so frequently I would suggest you just look at some of the posts on the forum.
