University of Aberdeen Business School (UABS) was formed in August 2002 by a merger of the departments of Accountancy-Finance, Economics, Property and Management.

The Department of Real Estate and Planning was established in 1968 and is the largest department in the country for teaching and research in real estate. The Department's aims are to maintain the highest standards of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for the real estate industry and to undertake internationally recognised, leading edge research into real estate, planning and land.

The College of Estate Management is the leading international body providing distance learning education and training to the property professions and construction industry.
