24 January 2004 - Landlord and Tenant - Commercial - Rent Review - Northern and Midland Holdings Ltd v Magnet Ltd. 

Rent Review clause of a lease entered into by the parties, the case involved the definition of reasonable time within which the landlord was required to refer to the president of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors for the appointment of a chartered surveyor to determine the market value of the premises. This, the court determined, ran from the date that it became clear that the parties had failed to reach an agreement between themselves as to the appointment of a surveyor.
